Pearl Jones and Henry Preston are met by Linden Hobbes and Abilena Book, agents of the Vassels of the Morning Star. They are inquiring as to find out what the weaknesses of the American breed of vampire in exchange for immunity. Pearl refuses their offer and sends them away.

During their discussion, it is revealed that Pearl has not killed anyone since 1925.

Later that night, Henry approaches Abilena and accepts the offer of immunity in exchange for revealing the weakness of the American breed of vampires.

Abilena calls her daughter in Vegas and leaves a message that they have Skinner Sweet's weakness.

Las Vegas, Nevada - 1936Edit

Back in Vegas, Cashel has a hard time believing that vampires exist and sends Felicia and Jack away.

At a hotel in Vegas, 5 vampires check in.

After checking in at the office, Cashel reluctantly decides to trust in Felicia and Jack to help him find the killer. They start off for the Gracie Estate.

As they travel, they witness a car fall and explode in the ground. It is another investor in the Hoover Dam, Blaine Isabelle. Cashel appears to begin to believe in the agent's story.

Cashel, Felicia and Jack enter the Gracie estate. They find Mr. Gracie and he explains that the investors were backed by a secret fifth group of vampires.

As they continue their discussion, they hear a crash and find Cashel's dad, Gus. Gus kills Gracie and then flies away.
